Dacoda Nichole Jones, who also did not mention Rice by name, shared a series of photos on social media that seemed to depict signs of physical abuse. She stated the person involved was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has kids with the football player, whom the Chiefs drafted in the 2023 draft.
Official Complaints Reportedly Not on File
No police reports were available in Overland Park, Kansas where the incident is said to have occurred.
Rice's Recent Legal Issues
The receiver missed the first six games of this NFL campaign following an league-mandated ban for his involvement in causing a multi-vehicle accident on a Texas roadway that resulted in multiple people injured. Rice was sentenced 30 days in jail and five years’ probation after pleading guilty to serious offenses.
Statistically, he finished the year with 53 catches for 571 yards and five touchdowns as the Chiefs finished with a losing record and missed the playoffs for the first occasion in a ten-year span.
